Aside from this, it is also easy and convenient, as it comes in powder form. So, you just simply mix this powder with a hot powder and VIOLA! You have your cleaner now.

 1. Degreasing Kitchen Floors

With all the grease, oil, and smoke, it is undeniably true that you’ll have a greasy kitchen floor. This can be a hazard for your workplace as it can hurt and injure your workers; hence, it is important to clean it properly and thoroughly to create a safe space for everyone.

  • Fill a mop bucket with hot water.
  • Put SIMIX product in the water (3-gallon bucket of water = 6 small scoops of powder).
  • Mix it together using a mop.
  • Mop the floors until they are squeaky clean.

2. Degreasing kitchen hood filters and oven parts

Hood filters and oven parts are staples in any commercial kitchen, as they play an important role in kitchen safety. Hood filters, for instance, help capture smoke and grease before they even get into the ventilation system. However, hood filters can acquire dirt so easily and might cause a potential accident if that happens. Hence, it is important to keep it clean.

Commercial kitchen cleaning procedures for kitchen hood filters using SIMIX product:

  • Plug the sink drain.
  • Fill it with hot water.
  • Add the SIMIX powder (10 gallons of water = 1 large scoop of SIMIX).
  • Soak the hood filters and oven parts for about 20 minutes.
  • Rinse and wipe until clean.

3. Cleaning kitchen grease traps and pipes

Grease taps are the ones that keep your pipes from clogging as they capture fats, oils, and grease (FOG). However, FOGs harden once they are trapped in the grease taps, which makes them difficult to remove. Hence, it is important to keep your grease trap clean, as it is not only helpful for your business but also for nearby sewage plants and the environment. And if you don’t clean it properly, it might cause you to break the bank, as plumbing bills can be expensive, especially these days.

Commercial kitchen cleaning procedures for kitchen grease traps and pipes using SIMIX product:

  • Plug all sinks that lead to grease traps.
  • Fill it with hot water.
  • Add the SIMIX powder (8–10 gallons of water = 1 large scoop of SIMIX).
  • Mix it together.
  • Drain the sink farthest from the trap.
  • Wait for 5 minutes.
  • Drain the next one
  • Go back to step 1.
  • Repeat until you have filled and drained all the sinks.

You can use SIMIX more than once a week if there is a higher volume of buildup and a bad smell.

Remember that keeping the kitchen clean and safe is very important for business, as it will affect your health, your workers’, and even your customers’.
